Seeing the here and unfolding now philosophical relevance of Christ’s teachings and process – organizing heart and mind for the work of now
In the name of the Father, and of the Son… “That was then!”
and the Holy Spirit… “This is now!”
Father, Son and Spirit are three processes! The reasoning mind, not able to “see” process, named them “persons”… a continuation of anthropomorphizing.
Seeing the three as process, we become aware of there being roles that can be taken on, patterns to follow. And deeper, we see how the Old Testament was all about the process – the creation process – of the one Source of the all… not an event, no, not a one-time event, but an ongoing unfolding process, a process within which humankind was/is created to choose to take a role in the Father’s everlasting life on this earth work.
Before the Christ process entered earth – the manifestation of the process of the Son on this earth – the best we could do was obey commands.
The essence of the process we call Son is, as we were given, loving one another as he loved us (JN13:34) — all-inclusively —, the four Thou Shall Loves that Christ taught, and the pattern of that process present in the beatitudes. The Son being the pattern of the process of authentic humanness ongoingly yessing the Father’s everlasting life on this earth work. A process that called to be embedded within humankind on this earth. The Son loves the Father and loves life; both love and life emanating from the Father process… the ongoing Father process.
And the Holy Spirit — this is now. Now is the time of potential, the end of time is the beginning of potential.
Christ repeatedly said “I come from above, you come from below”… not a statement of what is and will be true among humankind forever, but more a statement of the process shift on this earth that we, humankind, must make… consciously conscientiously choose – freely willfully choose.
Shift from starting our thinking from an existence, come from below perspective, to starting our thinking with a come from above perspective — intentional wisdom — accessible by and through embracing the truth of Spirit entering open receptive hearts and minds — the Spirit of Come from Above Truth. Shift from “We have to see it to believe it” to “Believing the Spirit speaks to us” (with come from above wisdom, not with “solutions” to presenting existential problems!). A teaching we really have not embraced, a teaching which the reason led existence based culture has made taboo.
The three processes must be actively present and embraced within humankind for any hopeful future for all children and the living earth. Void wisdom leading, intentional wisdom leading each and all, the reasoning problem solving mind, led not by wisdom, but by greed and power (artificial hierarchies), will rapidly (as we are seeing today) kill the earth end turn our children into robots.
Yes! In the late 90’s we were given, “Now is the time,” and truly, truly I now see “Now is the time of potential.” Earth and the children are crying out… there is no love and life in our culture! Now is the time for the process called Spirit of Truth entering and for our choosing to start our thinking from the wisdom of wholeness we are given from above. This would truly be the end of time (leading our thinking with existential problems) and the beginning of potential – the wisdom of the Spirit process – leading our thinking.
