“Gifts of the Spirit” is possible through the gift of spirit that reflecting on a loved one’s death brought to us.
As is common among human beings, we too experienced and are experiencing heartfelt sorrow, anguish and grief from facing the unexpected and tragic death of our dear sister and daughter Heidi. Through this and because of this, we have come to know spirit – to experience it and taste it in ways that previously were not present to us. This is a gift of spirit that has come to us. Heidi had a special capacity to live from and manifest her spirit in any and all of life circumstances. What is written here are personal reflections that are truly present and real to us… the hope and potential that a spirit manifested brings.
We could not find hope with what we saw with our eyes…
but in what we could not see.
When we see with our hearts, we find hope…
which lifts us and carries us.

Hope is a gift – not of what we see with our eyes,
but of what we are graced to see with our hearts.

Reflection is a way of seeing with our hearts.
Seeing with our hearts we gain access to spirit
– such that the gifts of the spirit become real.
Herein lies the hope
– hope for one… and hope for all.
