I thought we would begin with a few wisdoms worthy of our reflection and reflective dialogue…
There is among more and more of us, a stirring… an inner recognition of the diminishing of our humanness, and the growing threat to life itself… and through reflection is emerging an increasing clarity of the necessity for shifting the direction and nature of our processes. Humanness, our unique contribution to life, is being called upon to shift upward…
We have before us the work of advancing our humanness, work calling for accessing and manifesting spirit… a process of coming from virtue, taking up essential work, and by so doing, moving towards becoming fully and truly human.*
Over the past many months, while reflecting on our country, the recognition of our diminishing humanness and the essential work of advancing our humanness have been present to our Wisdom Writers dialogues here in Foley.
The work of advancing our humanness comes to light when we shift the start point of our thinking from a human-centered perspective to a life of the whole-centered perspective… advancing humanness being our unique contribution to the whole of life. Advancing our humanness being to the whole of life what pollination by honey bees is to the whole of life: essential to the ongoingness, to the eternalization of life itself.
At this time of potential, advancing our humanness calls for taking up our part in the work of…
o Moving towards wholeness, away from that which divides,
o Pursuing that which works for all children, all children in the world, now and into the future.
o Bringing the world of our making into congruence with the world of intent…
work essential to our becoming intentional people… intentional people of earth living in harmony with intent and intended ways of working (intended by the Source) of living earth, of life on this earth. Taking up this work opens our hearts and minds to embracing our instrumentality, answering “Yes” to our calling, manifesting spirit on this earth… as intended. In and through taking up our work in the world – taking up our advancing humanness work, work essential to the intended ongoingness of life itself – we are becoming that which we are intended to become. Our willful participation in accomplishing the work of the Source being essential to life itself and as well to the feeding of our spirits – “My food is to do the will of the One who sent me and to finish his work” – essential to we, ourselves, becoming fully and truly human, a gift of our taking up our work and role in advancing our humanness as a people of earth, a people of one Source.
Through serious intent, through our ongoing “Yes,” elevating love enters… and we know the process: “Wherever two or more are gathered in my name, so there shall I be.” At this time, the time of now, the time of potential, the smallest whole is community: two or more gathered in the name, two or more gathered as instruments of Love.
