Our Community Prayer
Based on the Prayer of St Francis
Lord God, Father of all creation, Source of Life and Love,
Make us an instrument of thy peace…
Where there is hatred, let us sow love,
Where there is injury, let us sow pardon,
Where there is doubt, let us sow faith,
Where there is despair, let us sow hope,
Where there is darkness, let us sow light,
And where there is sorrow, let us sow joy…
Oh Divine Master,
Grant that we not so much seek…
To be consoled as to console,
To be understood as to understand,
To be given mercy as to be merciful,
To be loved as to all-inclusively love…
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
It is in coming from above, that we die to coming from below…
It is in this “dying to the self” process, that we are born to eternalizing life.
And it is through this ongoing process, that an all-inclusive intentional community is born.
