Even in the Darkest of Storms, Beauty is Present
I have recently been “taken on a ride” that has brought me to places deep within where I had not ever been before. What has emerged from this experiencing is a depth of seeing and understanding of current reality – the children’s reality – way beyond that which had caused deep concern before. The contrast between what is, and what needs to be created is very sharp… necessarily so for the work now before us. And so, that is about where I am – captured within a maelstrom, yet increasingly clear about the path forward… seeking – through prayerful questioning – to see in wholistic, systemic ways, the ways of working of the eternalizing of life process… to see that which we are intended to join with. Whereas the imaging/images that are unfolding are amazing, beautiful and coalescing of the whole of the truth; words that fully capture the images have yet to present themselves. However, I can confidently say that moving towards harmonious congruence of our – each, all, community, humanity – essence virtue with the essence virtue of the Source, and the essence virtue of Christ, is the path of now… harmonious congruence originating with the Source, flowing through Christ into humanity, and through us, into the intentional working of the unfolding creation is a beautiful thing to image. I have found that even in these darkest of storms, beauty is present. And if I cannot see or access what is present before me, I can still access the beauty present in the work continuing to be unfolded through the grassroots process in Foley, and clearly beyond. For that I am most grateful, within that is much hope for the children.
