Ethics: What Should Be Leading Our Thinking at this Time
Reflectively processing the hazardous reality facing humankind and life itself in the context of “what should be leading our thinking,” has lifted up the essentiality of ethics… the active presence of ethics in our processes, systems, and our structures.
It is through ethics, ethical ways, that we nourish and sustain the integrity of the system… be it our systems, or the life systems of earth. That we sustain and nourish the integrity – the wholeness and the intended way of working – of the system. Integrity of and within the system being required to sustain the intent and the potential-realizing capacity present within the process.
And too, given our and life’s current reality, it becomes necessary for ethics – our ethics, our ethical ways – to take on the character of right and good… right for the one, good for the whole; right for humankind, good for the whole of life.
