When an entity experiences two distinctive and often polarizing positions such as conservative and liberal, a move towards the center – the taking of a centrist position – makes compromise possible.
If, on the other hand, the move is towards essence – rather than centrist – reconcile becomes possible… reconcile being the process where the whole and each and all within the whole are able to move to a higher plane, a higher order platform upon which to live.
Reconcile is to compromise
as
Resurrection is to restoration.
