Then…
God is an unchanging being… God is the source of creation… God is outside of the creation…
We are created in the image and likeness of God… have dominion over earth… thus are outside of life… Earth was created for us
Now…
There is an intentionality… a Source behind the whole of all… There are intended ways of working of life on this earth… We are created as living human spiritual beings… we are created for earth… we, like all of life’s creatures, have work and role with regard to the ongoingness, upward unfolding eternalizing of life on this earth… There are intended ways of working of life and love on this earth.
And so, the Living Philosophy of Potential… the Called Work of Now
To begin with, from our perspective: the work of philosophy is the inner organizing of heart and mind for the called work… the called work of now. The living philosophy of potential, its ongoing development, comes into being with regard to the here and unfolding now hazard facing humankind and life on this earth at this time.
At the heart of the living philosophy of potential, is the shifting of ourselves from leading with a problem solving approach – seeing life and ourselves as a problem to solve – shifting from that perspective, to one of realizing potential – realizing the potential of each and all -, which calls for our realizing the potential that Christ, through completing his work on this earth, makes possible… the essence of which is love… the all-inclusive love of the Source entering through us into the working of the world… and our developing understanding of the intentional ways of working of life on this earth… All of which requires our moving away from human centeredness and towards a life of the whole centeredness… the embracing of the whole of the truth of our livingness… our living human spiritual beingness.
And in Conclusion…
As Christ said: That is what was unfolding then… this is what is unfolding now… If love is not present in the process… love will not be present in the outcome.
From the time of our leaving the garden, all was organized by a problem solving approach… including salvation. That was then…
This is now… a time of becoming… becoming as intended… being authentic… becoming an intentional people of life on this earth… a potential realizing approach.
